About the Boosters
The Cooper Band Boosters are an integral part of the Cooper High School Band. Meetings are every second Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm in the CHS Band Hall. Please check the calendar regularly to see meeting details.
We welcome new boosters and encourage all members to attend monthly meetings. Your participation will benefit every student of the Cooper High School Band.

Minutes from last meeting posted and accepted: David Burroughs’ motioned and Patty Davis’ seconded the motion – approved by voice vote
Treasurer’s report by Debra Goodheer - Denise Clark made a motion to accept and Kara Nixon seconded the motion – approved by voice vote
Meeting Adjourned at 7:17pm
Old Business:
• Dec. 9 – March-a-thon : need volunteers to call businesses and attend with band
• Students attend 1st and 2nd periods and then are dismissed
• Elementary schools in morning, Gatti’s for lunch, businesses in afternoon
• Purpose is to celebrate marching season, recruit new members, and community service
• Dec. 16 – Gatti’s Christmas Party Fundraiser- 10 pm – 2 am for $20 – all you can eat pizza and games EVERYONE (parents, siblings, friends) is invited to participate! *proceeds go to the Color guard for Winter guard
• Need volunteers to supervise
• Storage Building UPDATE
-Frank Dick of Patriot Exteriors has graciously agreed to build a 10×16 storage building for little to no cost due to his vendors also graciously agreeing to donate materials.
New Business:
• Christmas concert – Thursday Dec. 15th at 7:00 pm – Students should wear Formal conservative black clothes
• Band Banquet will be April 28th and will be 80’s theme – will need many volunteers in the upcoming months
Director’s Report:
• A busy concert band season has begun
• Great showing at Regional’s with 42 making all region band with 3 first chairs
• 14 students advancing to area to be held on Saturday, Jan. 7th at ACU
• Fundraiser money is due December 12
