The Awesome Cooper Band is a fine arts organization at Cooper High School in the Abilene Independent School District, Abilene, TX. There are currently 220 members of the ACB. Students of the ACB participate in nearly every organization on the CHS campus in addition to their membership in the ACB. Madison Middle School and Clack Middle School are the two middle school feeders of CHS. If you have any questions regarding the ACB, feel free to contact us.
The director of bands for the Awesome Cooper Band is Mr. Clay Johnson. A special thanks to Ms. Baggenstoss and Mr. Zaffos for their hard work and dedication to the Awesome Cooper Band. We wish you the best and will miss you! We have hired two amazing new assistants and will have their information posted very soon! Check back often for updates!
The Cooper Band Boosters are an integral part of the Awesome Cooper Band. Meetings are every second Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm in the CHS Band Hall. Please check the calendar regularly to see if a meeting time has changed. We welcome new boosters and hope that current members will attend the monthly meetings. We are grateful to our Boosters for their continued support and could not function without them.
